Student Awards

• Aashi Gupta (Supervisor: Ray Duffy) won 1st prize at the Tyndall Postgraduates Poster Competition 2024 in the early stage researchers category.
• Michael Sweetman, PhD student (Supervisor: Michael Nolan), was runner-up in the College of SEFS Graduate of the Year 2023.
• Jessica Murphy and James Hennessey completed their Tyndall Summer Fellowships, working with Supervisor: Michael Nolan , Mohammad Noor-A-Alam and Michael Sweetman. James won second place in the poster competition, August 23rd 2024. James will be submitting an IRC PhD fellowship application to work with Michael Nolan.
• James Brown started his IRC PhD Fellowship on September 1st 2024, working with Mohmmad-Noor-A-Alam and Michael Nolan.
